The Thing We Are Here To Achieve: Our Goal: President Trump’s Impeachment and Removal.
We will lobby and educate congressional members and staffs.
We will raise awareness and educate the community at large.
We will create art.
We will do all this in-real-life and virtually. IRL we will establish Camp Mayday, a protest camp within sight of the Capitol on the National Mall starting May 1st. This will serve as our base for our operations in Washington DC. Our virtual work will allow anyone from anywhere to participate and let their voice be heard.
We will abide by a commitment to non-violence.
Safety of Camp Mayday participants and the public
A legislature that supports the Constitution
A public that understands the stakes
Art that speaks to the soul
This will be a permitted event.
There is no sleeping on the National Mall or in public spaces in the federal core.
We will focus on our panel of the National Mall. We control the pad and can influence surrounding panels.
We shall be advised by legal counsel.
Other protest efforts will be taking place in Washington DC at the same time.
We are committed to non-violence and the right to free speech.
Long-term protest events require leaning into multi-disciplinary mutual aid.
The President has made violent, physical, and legal threats against protesters who utilize their First Amendment rights.
Our goal is "President Trump’s impeachment and removal." There are many ways to say the goal, and many ways to share the goal.
The purpose, the mission, and the work of Camp Mayday is to conduct protest operations in the three branches of congressional ops, community ops, and art response.
We will use a facilitated, proven planning methodology to drive weekly action.
We will use a proven, defined community structure-for-action to place volunteers and ensure all critical tasks are being completed.
We will remain an unincorporated association and utilize a Political Action Committee for funding our efforts.
We are committed to acting in a non-violent manner.
We believe art is best created by people as it is a window into the soul. We will not use or encourage AI-created works.
We will abide by the "Superintendent's Compendium for the National Mall and Memorial Parks" dated November 18, 2024 as last updated on December 5, 2024, published online at https://www.nps.gov/nama/learn/management/superintendent-s-compendium.htm, and accessed 22 March 2025.
We will encourage other people and organizations to seek permits for panels on the Mall to conduct their own protest operations.
The only PII we will collect or ask for is
(1) a first name and initial,
(2) preferred pronouns
(3) Signal ID with checksum
(4) Proton email address
(5) Discord display name used on our server -- unless by law we are required to collect and maintain additional PII.
Every section, branch, group, or team lead shall maintain a list of digital assets used with their credentials. For community continuity, every list shall be shared with the Special Staff Lead or their designee to the Initiative Coordinator. Details on this will be forthcoming.

Contact your elected federal representatives. Do it daily. Phone call preferred, but that may not be your preference. Do what works for you, but make those contacts daily. Always use the words "impeach" and "remove" along with whatever other messages you're delivering.
Every day, tell three people about the movement. Ask them to share with three people.

A lifelong social, environmental, and political activist, Jim is a member of Canada's New Democratic Party and the Ontario New Democratic Party in which he serves as a representative to the party's Provincial Council. He is involved in the Mayday movement because he feels a responsibility to help his American neighbours stand against the rise of authoritarianism and isolationism in the United States. He offers decades of activist experience and a level-headed "outsider's" point of view to the movement. All interactions should be guided by the Mayday Movement USA's core goal: the impeachment, conviction, and removal of President Donald J. Trump. We will do this by supporting our Three Pillars
1. Congressional Lobbying & Outreach: Encourage communication with and pressure on members of the House of Representatives and the Senate to pursue impeachment and conviction.
2. Community Education & Outreach: Engage with the public to educate them on the movement's goals and rationale
3. Art Response: Support and participate in the creation and dissemination of art that conveys the movement's message and aims to influence public opinion and policymakers.
